So you might be wondering why I didn't post yesterday. You also might be wondering why my little guy over there to the right is now 'Happy'. Well, today I am coming out of the darkness of one of the worst (not to mention most random) bouts of sickness I have had in quite some time. I was totally decommissioned yesterday and spent the better part of the day napping. I will spare you all the gory details of my actual sickness, just know it was bad! I am feeling much better today, a little on the weak side, but much better. Hence, I am happy.

(As a quick side note to that, I find it interesting that we humans are a lot of the times, happiest after being the saddest, or the sickest, or the closest to death. Case in point, me today. There is nothing particularly special about today that would make me happy outside of the fact that I am not deathly sick anymore. It sometimes seems to take something to shake us and wake us up from our monotonous slumber to the fact that we have a lot to be thankful for. It is kinda sad it has to be like that. Maybe it doesn't?)

Anyway, random thoughts. So this Gonzales thing that I blogged about last time is really heating up! As an addendum to my thoughts on that, I must say that I still feel like the media is mostly in bed with the right wingers and does everything in its power to further their propaganda and cover up their misdoings. HOWEVER, with that said, there does come a point when the scandals get too big, the evidence becomes too overwhelming, and the public outcry for coverage becomes too loud that their hand is forced and they switch gears and revert back to the public servants that they are supposed to be. (By the way, I find it funny they they never report on the lack of reporting done in that interim time frame. Oh well, self-sustaining type thing I guess!) I believe with this new media pressure on Gonzales, we will have our third Attorney General under the Bush administration by the end of the month. Does that mean an improvement? Given the past track record of Bush replacements, probably not.

Speaking of Bush replacements, any bets on how long before Cheney is forced out due to impeachment (unlikely) or some 'medical reasons' (very likely). My bet on this would be by the end of the summer. That of course brings up the very intriguing question of, who would his replacement be? Could it be an internal person like Condi? Or would it be someone external like Rudy to 'help' his presidential campaign? Could it be big brother Jeb? Stay tuned for details!

So that's all I've got for today. Sorry if my brain is still a little scrambled from lack of nourishment. I promise future blogs will be more readable! One last thing, get out there and enjoy your life! Don't wait for something to 'wake you up'!

Thanks for reading...
