Karl, Karl, Karl (Rove of course), you never leave me wanting for some salacious scandal to blog about. I seriously am thinking more and more (to harken back to an earlier theory) that you are a liberal covert agent, working inside this Republic administration, to bring them down from the inside out. Nothing else makes any logical sense, seriously. Then again, nothing considering how this Iraq war mess has been handled the past 5 years has made any sense either. Maybe they are all this incompetent? *Shudder*

So what has Turd Blossom gone and done now? Well, apparently it appears the latest revelation of scandalous behavior centers around the use of laptops. You see, there is this little 'inconvenient truth' (that this administration refuses to acknowledge and/or adhere to) called transparency and congressional oversight. Every thing that a government official does or says is subject on some level to being recorded and possibly held up to scrutiny at a later date. Of course, to an honest and upfront government official, this would not pose much of a threat and would seldom need to be enforced. To Karl and the gang, who run the executive branch like the mafia, this presents a HUGE potential problem. SO, in order to get around this problem, senior level White House officials have been using two computer networks for the last 6 years. They have the official, GSA approved, computer system which is subject to being recorded and where they discuss 'above the board' business (as above the board as these people can stomach that is). AND THEN, they have the RNC furnished network of computers on which they *think* they can pull their dirty little tricks, free from scrutiny. Well, that HAD been the case, up until now!

Rep. Henry Waxman, who heads up the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and has been a champ in digging up all these recent Bush scandals and getting investigations rolling, is currently looking into the matter and will most likely have to subpoena the email records for these laptops. When these come to light (and granted, some may not and should not if they deal with national security matters), we are in for all kinds of good times! Already this 'secret network' has been linked in with the US Attorney firing scandal and the Jack Abramoff scandal. WHO KNOWS what else might be in there! I for one can't wait to find out! That is easy blogging material!

Thanks for reading...
