So the White House let it leak yesterday that they are searching for a "War Czar". Basically this poor fool would be in charges of the messes, er wars, in both Iraq and Afghanistan. They would oversee these wars while issuing commands to the Pentagon, State Department, etc. You might this of this person as a "Chief Commander" or better yet, a "Commander-in-Chief". That title has a nice ring to it don't you think? Now where have I heard that before? Hmm..

Anyway, as you can imagine, they are having quite the time finding anyone gullible, er qualified (I am so Freudian today!), enough to take on this noble task. They have asked a few retired Generals so far and have been summarily turned down. I can't imagine why no one would want this job? Just think, you get to be the ultimate scapegoat for one of the biggest failures in foreign policy of this country to date! Where do I sign?!

Undoubtedly, they will eventually find someone to fill this position. But think about that for a moment, do we really want some Gump who was like #163 down on the list of qualified candidates, having the lives of thousands of troops and billions of dollars at his or her disposal? Then again, probably anyone is an improvement on the guy who is currently filling the position of "Commander-in-Chief".
