Hello loyal readers! Sorry it has been a few days since my last post, maybe I should rename this ~~~The Weekly Mind Reader~~~? OR, I suppose I could just be better about writing a little something everyday? Hmm..
Anyway, as you will notice from the title of this blog, I am experiencing some knee pain. I tried to go for a run last night to further my training towards running in the Bolder Boulder, and let's just say it didn't go well. I was only able to make it about a mile before the pain became too much to handle. I am still planning on a run Thursday night and will hopefully have better news to report afterwards.
If you noticed 'Knee Pain' in the title to today's blog, you also undoubtedly noticed 'Global Warming' there as well. Could I possibly be blaming global warming for my knee pain? Of course not, a lot of things legitimately being caused by global warming; melting ice caps, more frequent and intense storms, and the extinction of many species to name a few. No, I would never be so deceiving and place blame unfairly! I know my knee pain is undoubtedly as a result of Bush's failed policies in Iraq! *Grin*
In regards to global warming, however, I wanted to send a big SHOUT OUT to Al Gore for his Oscar winning documentary, 'An Inconvenient Truth'. This should be required viewing for all of you out there; left, right or middle. While being a great film as well as an eye opening truth, it should only serve as a beginning step towards doing your personal part in reversing this greatest of all crises facing humankind as we know it.
